Rota gives the scheduling office and the floor the same live view. Schedulers build the weekly roster on a unit×day grid that flags any block under its coverage target the moment it appears, post or directly assign open shifts, and approve swaps and time-off in one click. Staff sign in to see their week, pick up open shifts that match their role, request swaps, and book time off — with on-call and weekly-hours tracking so nobody goes over their cap by accident. Two roles, one source of truth, every action audit-logged.
