Overview
ALC Connect is a community/membership-organization engagement platform productionized from a client prototype into FastAPI + Postgres + React. Four-tier role hierarchy (ExecutiveDirector / DepartmentAdmin / Staff / Member) with server-enforced RBAC. Includes a threaded community forum, an App Hub of pinned flyer announcements and multi-option polls, an event calendar with registration and capacity, an employee task tracker and volunteer logging/assignment, a personal medication tracker and daily mood log, a token reward shop with earnable badges, and custom attendance/participation reporting with one-click CSV export. A Smart Chat AI assistant uses a real model when keyed and an honest local fallback otherwise. Real JWT auth (bcrypt), scoped CORS, security headers, rate limiting, and a tamper-evident hash-chain audit log (chain-verification endpoint). Non-healthcare community vertical.
